Chapter 80: Chasing His Wife at the Train Station

    He didn’t say anything.

“Lin Xi,” Mu Chuang’s rapid breathing filled his ears as he said with heartfelt urgency and nervousness, “Don’t go, even if you want to leave, leave with me, don’t leave me, okay?”

As he spoke, he tried to pull Lin Xi away, leading him step by step away from the ticket gate.

Lin Xi was like a wooden puppet, his mind in a chaotic mess, completely bewildered. He didn’t know how to face Mu Chuang’s belated affection.

He was half-pushed, half-pulled by Mu Chuang to his luxury car. Seeing the familiar car in front of him, he suddenly thought of something –

This man had married another woman. In this world, he had his own wife, his own family. The hesitation he originally felt suddenly turned into a decision –

He had to leave him. He couldn’t interfere in his marriage, and he didn’t believe Mu Chuang would divorce that woman for him. He didn’t believe this belated love either, always feeling that he had changed because he felt guilty about his suicide attempt, not because he truly loved him.

“You’ve mistaken me. I just look like him. Please don’t stop me from getting on the train and don’t delay my trip.” Lin Xi finally made his decision, trying his best to snatch his luggage from Mu Chuang’s hand.

Mu Chuang wouldn’t let go, holding onto him with one hand and the suitcase with the other, angered by his words. In that world, Lin Xi occupied someone else’s body, so it was understandable that he didn’t acknowledge him, but here, he was one with his body and soul, yet he still refused to acknowledge him, making him feel extremely uncomfortable.

“Your denial doesn’t mean you’re not him. I’m not stupid or blind. If you insist on not acknowledging me, then I won’t force you. If I say you are, then you are. No matter what you say, it won’t change the fact that I love you.” He said it directly, saying that he loved him, saying that he wanted to pursue him, with none of the previous hesitations, and none of that cowardly mentality. If Lin Xi angered him, he wouldn’t mind pinning him down right there and kissing him forcefully in front of so many people.

“You’re already married, you should be responsible for your woman, instead of being outside…”

Before Lin Xi could finish speaking, Mu Chuang, enraged, blocked his mouth.

He released the suitcase directly, using both hands to restrain him. He didn’t care if they were on the street, outside the train station where people were coming and going, or even if they were two men. He just pinned him down and kissed him, regardless of what others might say.

“…Mmm…You…Let…” Lin Xi couldn’t utter a complete sentence, his entire body controlled by the other party due to the disparity in strength, forced to accept the other’s invasion.

“I don’t have a woman,” Mu Chuang squeezed out a sentence through his teeth, “Don’t mention that bitch to me again. She’s already been run over by a car. Originally, I wanted to run her over myself, but unexpectedly someone got drunk and beat me to it. Heaven gave me freedom, giving me the opportunity to pursue you, so this time, I won’t let you go no matter what, unless I die.”

Hearing these words, Lin Xi suddenly stopped struggling. The news was too shocking, making it hard for him to believe for a moment.

He just froze there, motionless, unknowingly taken advantage of by Mu Chuang for who knows how long, until his lips hurt before he reacted.

By this time, they were surrounded by a crowd, some even taking out their phones to call the police, feeling that this was a blatant act of indecency and assault. Two men were even preparing to step forward to save him.

“Let go!” Lin Xi finally squeezed out three words through his teeth, then seized the opportunity to add, “Someone called the police, aren’t you afraid?”

“What am I afraid of?” Mu Chuang replied nonchalantly, “If you want to send me in, then feel free to resist. If you don’t want to, then even if I get caught, it’s fine. Isn’t that right, sweetheart?”

He finally relented a little, saying this while close to Lin Xi’s lips, then gave him a heavy “bo”.

The crowd on the scene froze. The person preparing to call the police and the men preparing to save him hesitated, belatedly realizing that these two didn’t seem to be strangers, but a real couple having a lovers’ quarrel.

“What are you looking at? Haven’t you seen people kissing before? A whole bunch of people surrounding us here, aren’t you ashamed?” Mu Chuang pressed Lin Xi’s head into his arms, suddenly shouting at the surrounding people, “Get lost, what’s the matter with watching other people? Aren’t you afraid of poking your eyes out?”

Some timid people left one after another, the remaining few who were unconvinced grumbled a couple of times and then followed.

The surroundings quieted down. Lin Xi then pulled away from Mu Chuang’s embrace. Who knew that as soon as he moved, he would be grabbed by the other party again, “Don’t go, come back with me. Ask your dad to come to my house for a meal, I have something to say, and then we’ll go out, go to the old place. After I get familiar with the situation in the factory, we’ll come back and open our own factory. You’ll be in charge of the finances then, okay?”

Lin Xi didn’t speak. This was too much information for him to process. He hadn’t even planned to forgive this man, and hadn’t even thought about his future with him. Yet this man had already started planning their future together. Wasn’t that a bit too confident?

“You delayed my train. Compensate me for a ticket.” Lin Xi coldly changed the subject, suddenly reaching out to Mu Chuang for the fare.

Mu Chuang was amused by him, “How much do you want? Is all my wealth, plus me, enough?”

“Two hundred and twenty-eight, I don’t want anything else.” Lin Xi replied seriously, in no mood to joke with him.

“What if I insist on giving it?” Mu Chuang shamelessly pressed, “Don’t you want anything even if I pay you to take it?”

Lin Xi glanced at him sideways, not wanting to get entangled with him. He grabbed his suitcase and walked away, preparing to buy another ticket.

Suddenly, someone grabbed his waist, along with the person’s somewhat urgent voice, “Don’t go, come back with me, I’m begging you, Lin Xi.”

Lin Xi struggled, but the other man was determined, even forceful, directly pulling him into the car, and then quickly stuffing the suitcase into the trunk. The whole action was so swift that Lin Xi didn’t have time to react.

“Fasten your seatbelt.” Mu Chuang, who had successfully snatched the person, smiled mischievously, seemingly reminding Lin Xi, but in reality, he had already started moving.

He carefully helped Lin Xi fasten his seatbelt, and even took the opportunity to pin him in the seat and kiss him, until he was breathless before letting go, seemingly with lingering affection.

Lin Xi held back a grievance, turning his face to look out the window, recalling the first time he sat in this car, and the bits and pieces that happened with the car’s owner, still feeling uncomfortable in his heart.

But Mu Chuang knew when to stop. Seeing the other party’s quiet appearance, he didn’t tease him anymore. Instead, he drove the car steadily, heading all the way towards Nanxi Village.
